Very crowded and good music. He says to me that I didn't follow the rules and that no one sat me there and no one switched me. The manner in which he spoke to me was extremely rude. Parking is also an issue. Incident that sums it up: I was there with some gal pals; younger man joins us. The line almost immediately started moving and I was inside within maybe 10 minutes. They play mostly 70s, 80s, and 90s music so don't expect to hear anything to new, or any rap, and any country. It is food for you to eat to help you stay sober.
When we arrived Sunday night I think , there was a small cover but no line. He makes sure all of his bar guests needs are taken care of, going above and beyond every time. Waiting for over an hour or two. Our event planners strive to make every event a memorable one. Majority though was late 20's-to-mid 30's white people. The food was actually decent. The dance floor was packed and there are bouncer guys in suit jackets reminding you not to take videos, photos or bring drinks on the dance floor. The place smell's like a nasty ciggerrett or Cigar.
Velvet seats and a disco ball over the dance floor. They will however, take multiple cards. The music is old school and there is nothing fancy about the place. All for your listening and dancing pleasure. They do serve food, but it is not meant to be a gourmet dining spot. But the music no longer has many nods to the Big Band era. Men and women, of all ages, give everybody the once over, and seem to ask everybody, and anybody, to dance until somebody says yes.

One can always come in for a drink and enjoy the tunes from the 40's to the 2000's. I explained to him that I had been in Johnny's for two hours without any problem and that I was sitting at a table. Guys were stopping and buying us drinks constantly, we were dancing and having an overall good time. I had visited Johnny's a few times and enjoyed myself.
