Since the bluetooth connection for voice navigation prompts is basically a phone call, would it follow that a corrupted attempt to use my phone data might have messed up the Google Maps ability to establish the phone connection? Now its like its zoomed out and hard to follow the visual directions. Make sure under navigation settings that you have play as Bluetooth phone call is switched on. Cortana can also remind you to do tasks based on your location. About 10 feet before the turn I get the spoken instructions to turn. Calls will route over the audio as intended.
